EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Just another regular Tuesday carry. Is it Friday yet?

As seems to always be the case lately, I’m running a bit late to the party. These pics are from yesterday.

I picked up a new EDC late Friday evening, then waited patiently for a little window of “me time” to open up Monday afternoon. Plan was to swing by the range and get it dialed in.

That there was just one other car in the parking lot should’ve been my first clue. Guy standing at the door reading the big sign I’d never noticed before definitely shoulda tipped me off. Still, I grabbed my gear, locked my car and headed in.

Guy looked at me and asked “When did they start closing on Monday?”

I looked at the gear bag in my left hand, glanced back at my car then finally read the sign. All I could think to say was “Probably when the last one out locked the doors on Sunday?”

For some reason it made sense and seemed funny in my head. Outside my head, not so much. I’m sure everyone’s scratching their heads right now having hoped for a funny punchline. I wish I had something better, but much like my shooting…..not everything hits the mark.

Anyway, after a brief but awkward moment we commiserated and talked guns for a few minutes. As I was pulling out two other cars were pulling in. Guess nobody got the memo. Gotta wait til Thursday now to give this thing a try. I hate having to wait to play with a new toy. I’m like a 54-year old toddler in that way. Actually, according to my wife…..in a whole lotta ways.

Sorry for the long-winded rambling post that went sideways from the get-go. You have my word I’ll be short and concise for the remainder of the week.

I've really been enjoying this Para 3 the last couple of days. I know it's been said before but I see this one staying in the pocket for a while.

I have been surprised how much I like the Para3 as well. Didn't buy one for years because I saw it as just a shrunken PM2. While it is also that, to some extent, it really stands on its own and is a superior EDC in some ways.

Another full day of work for me, setting the last of the bathroom cabinets, dealing with a pretty rough and out-of-level concrete floor. I carried my K390 Police today and got a couple pics after getting home late.

C CHNeal sounds like you should have more purchase with your thumb (if you're a righty). As long as you don't habitually middle finger flick it, call it "character" and keep using it

If it wasn't loose now I probably would. It does however make it a bit tougher to open left handed as I sometimes do.

I had one before and carried it for almost a year then sold it. Missed it and got a new one. Now I have 2..... For me it does a lot of things right and I'm still carrying a Para 3 since the post you quoted. Curious to see how long this lasts for.
