Agreed. That’s pretty much what they’re going to do!If that were mine, I’d use a brass punch to try and gently tap that back in. That’s just me though….
That is such a cool and completely unique looking knife. Thanks brother! I've done something similar a few times on some traditionals, but this was the first time giving it a shot on a modern folder. The vision I had in mind for this knife (patina/fade dye job/bronzed hardware) was really what drove me to the purchase (well, that and the fact that I wanted to give K390 a try). I'm really quite pleased with it and have been carrying it much more than I ever expected to. It's a great steel, the subtle color fade from the dye job adds an interesting look to an otherwise plain knife, and I love the colors that the patina picks up in certain lights. I was even able to get some blues coming through when I flamed the clip and screws (though it doesn't always come through in the pics). I'm surprised at how much enjoyment I can get out of a stupid plastic knife. Gotta love Spyderco

Had a similar view looking south back around '76-'77 when I lived off of Trout Gulch Road in Aptos. We were at about 1,000 feet elevation, so we were often above the fog line - backed up against Nicene Marks State Park - Unfortunately it didn't last...

Already did. Now it’s a bit loose. Nothing going to CRK for a thumbstud replacement won’t cure.If that were mine, I’d use a brass punch to try and gently tap that back in. That’s just me though….
Nope they are going to replace it with a new one that isn’t loose and gouged up.Agreed. That’s pretty much what they’re going to do!
