Hey where you are done, I need you to meet me in the NC mountains 👍🏻🤔
Thanks for the invite, B. :) What I really need is to get to my Vermont mountains--I haven't been there for almost 9 months following my knee replacement surgery and rehab, a youth basketball season that required lots of extra work to get the league going again, and this project I'm trying to finish that included a surprise major repair. The closest I've been to my woods and hills is longingly looking at our acreage and camp on Google Earth.

Today I carried my Manix XL. Its FFG blade came in quite handy as I had a lot of cardboard to deal with on the job after unboxing and installing several cabinets in two bathrooms. As big and broad as this knife is, it's not as much of a pocket hog as one might assume, with its flat handle being barely over 3/8" thin.

I made the decision last week to start carrying an Izula in place of the Candiru that I’ve been carrying daily for a few years. I started out carrying the stainless Izula, as I have 4 different Izula’s (and 3 Candiru’s 😂). Call me crazy, but I like the 1095 Izula better than than the s35vn than I’ve been carrying for several days. I can’t explain it, I have no idea why that is, but I do. So, this one has gone in my pocket and the stainless is now in the maxpedition pouch I take everywhere I go.
