EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Back to micarta and changed the pen to a smaller one. Green on green. I am waiting for a Prometheus Beta in brass to arrive.

My first impressions has mixed feelings:

The ergos, fit and finish, clip tension, grind, bevel, and carbon fiber inlays are all top notch and what one would expect from the price tag. However, for me, there’s a learning curve on deployment. Thumb rolling works the best between that and middle finger flicking, but even that had failed attempts at times. Middle finger flicking is at a 80% success rate at the moment — but it requires me to use some wrist momentum. The third method is pinching the nail nick enough to lift the blade and then thumb roll it out. I’m hoping it gets more consistent, but for now that’s my only challenge with the knife. I actually pre-ordered a PJ flipper version so I’m looking forward to comparing the two. I’d be interested in hearing thoughts on the deployment from @Sharp & Fiery and others who have the iMamba.
It's always kind of luck of the draw when receiving any new knife on how good the action is in my experience. Even high end expensive folders. My iMamba is the only one I've ever handled so I can't speak on how they are in general, but mine is literally like perfect. The detent, lockbar pressure, bearing action are all tuned just right and somehow work equally well for thumb-rolling, flipping, and spydie-flicking. It is a little bit different than the majority of knives out there with anything but flipping because of the fuller/notch/nail nick being a little bit further from the end of the scales than normal but it works really well in my case. Possibly it would smooth things out if you took her apart, cleaned everything real well and then applied just a touch of whatever oil you use. Be aware of the loose ball bearings though.

His knife is a custom running on washers, that's why I was interested in what he thought.
