  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I got the SE & PE Ayoobs and have been carrying one or the other all week.. I normally prefer a more neutral design, but these are growing on me.. very comfortable ergonomically..

After two days of more temperate weather with the house opened up and our AC turned off, the heat came back again and J and I rushed out early for our morning walk. I actually forgot to slip a small knife in my waist band and did my two miles bladeless. o_O As I might well have carried my small Strizh for that on this Carbon Fiber Friday, I chose a larger CF Cheburkov for the rest of the day and went with my Hudson as it's not dissimilar to new Leader LW I ordered later in the morning. The new addition is CF both sides and constructed much like my Strizh as a sort of linerless liner lock, yielding a stupidly light weight of 3.4 oz for a 4" bladed knife.

On another note, I didn't actually carry these two today, but did some time installing new Lynch clips on my FRN Endura and Delica. These are way better than the original black-painted clips and an improvement similarly satisfying as the one I effected not long ago to my ZT 0450/0452 pair.

Spending the day at my brother in laws farm for my nieces birthday. Hardest use I’ll probably see is cutting up cake and BBQ, so these should do. I’m trying to carry this DLT purple/CruWear PM2 more. I guess I just have too many options, but this is hands down the best fit/finish/action PM2 I’ve ever owned.

I wish I would have bought two at the time, as this one will probably go to one of my twins when she’s old enough. I’ve never seen someone so obsessed with purple as her.
