That lookout is on the tip of my tounge and I can’t remember the name. I’ve always wanted to go hike that one. Been to the Fremont lookout in Sunrise numerous times. Just something about old time fire lookouts that are so cool.

High Rock Lookout. Fremont looks amazing, I'll have to put that one on the list. I've done Granite Mountain a couple of times, and another that I can't remember at the moment. Park Butte is also one that I'd like to try. I'm fascinated by them as well. Imagining what it would be like to be secluded up there back in the day for a full season, hearing stories of authors spending time up in the lookouts, or of the badass mofo that built this one as commemorated in this plaque, hauling his building materials by mule (now that I think of it, I reckon the mule deserves a share of the credit as well ).

The very first batch were done by Reate, they have since switched to another company from what I read, the build quality could not be any better IMO
