Lol, it appears you raised a confident, strong-willed and fearless daughter. I think your next step is to whip out a more intimidating knife.

Try an 11” serrated fixed blade. Seems to work getting my 22 year-old son out of the house when I need him gone.

Bahahaha. Kidding of course. Very nice knife!
 
While stepping away from 5 consecutive days of Griptilian carry, I did still pick a knife from the same tier of the Benchmade box, going with my 581 Barrage. Doing a quick search to verify the model number as my old eyes have a hard time reading it off the blade, I discovered that it actually qualifies as a Throwback Thursday carry since this upgraded model has apparently been discontinued.

A few minor upgrades of my own have greatly improved this one, most notably de-assisting and removing the locking mechanism and backspacer with two plain standoffs added to give it full open back construction. You can see here that the liners are generously skeletonized, though the balance point is still well back to the rear of the aluminum bolsters. Nevertheless, the generous handle gives the knife a very solid and substantial feel in hand.

That, along with the high flat ground M390 blade make this one an excellent worker.
