Be safe if you get out. Too bad cat food can be delivered from a local store like human groceries can be.Thank you my friend! Fortunately I’m off for four days and the forecast says everything should start melting in a couple of days fingers crossed . I’ve got cold beveragesand plenty of food so I’m good. But I’m low on cat food lol might have to venture out tomorrow but it’s only a short distance. Power is still going strong

Thanks.I can always count on a “cheering up,” from someone here at BF. Much appreciated. Apparently it’s only affected 20 customers in my area…if the roads weren’t so bad, I’d go buy a lottery ticket.
And people wonder why I have “more than enough” flashlights.
Should probably think about investing in a generator…![]()
Hope y’all’s power came back. I know a guy that can install a generator for ya, we just get a little confused on how to work with all that white stuff on the ground thoThanks.I can always count on a “cheering up,” from someone here at BF. Every now and again I’ll keep ya on your toesThis is the first picture in months that you've posted that I didn't immediately recognize as yours.
Alarm sound…Carbon Fiber Foreign Flipper Friday with my Biryukov #9…busted Sir! One strike next to your nameI promised my friendbigolegator that I'd be careful with my consonance (does that count?), but I'll go in threefold here on Carbon Fiber Foreign Flipper Friday with my Biryukov #9. Perhaps it not being a framelock (note, no caps) will save me from going back on his ignore list.

Did you polish or replace the axis buttons? looks cool whatever it is....
Godspeed on you feeling better my FriendDad to the rescue during an ice storm carry. Still sick as a dog, and we had freezing rain all night leaving the entire surface of the ground like a skating rink this morning. Two of my kids had spent the night at an airbnb nearby celebrating a friends 18th birthday party, and had to be out promptly because new guests were supposed to be coming in. Transportation was down, many of the cars that did dare risking it were sliding all over the place in our very hilly neighborhood, and even if I did want to drive my ride was covered in a sheet of pure ice so thick that I was afraid it would crack my windows should I try to penetrate it.
Nothing I could think to do but throw on my spikes and walk the few miles down there. When I got there I gave my son one of my hiking shoes with the spikes, replaced that with one of his vans, and we both provided arms for stability for his sister as we made our way back carrying all of their stuff. Took the better part of two hours in 20 something degree weather, and with more freezing rain toward the end. It was actually kinda fun though. Plenty of comic relief, not the least of which was the dog overzealously greeting us at the back gate and not being able to stop, sliding on the ice, and face-planting into the chain link fence
All's well that ends well I reckon. A couple of hours later and I'm still warming up.
