I did do shipping prep for some sheaths that I will be making. :)

And pocket carrying these two today…the @David Mary Wharnificent fixed blade has become one of my favorite blades. Really well done and has me super excited for his “Rangs” to come out. :)

Just can't like a post dealing with loss of power and potential long stretch without power. Hopefully the long stretch does not happen and your power is back by now. Northern winters and southern hurricane seasons have a lot in parallel and some things in common.

Thank you for the sentiments. Power came on a couple hours ago and then flickered and caused other problems…which have now been corrected…thank goodness. What a week.

Great little combo. See, I try not to make a habit of carrying the little fixed blade due to it being a little over the legal limit for fixed blades here (but the larger Yojumbo is OK to carry, ha) but it is so nice... so light, love the shape for most of my tasks in town. Frees up my right pocket because otherwise a waved Yo2/Yojumbo/Police 4 will be there. Rides high so it is invisible. The safety measure part of it, too. Love me a Ronin. Usually rock a LW Spyderco with it, but no need today.

Purple Boker USB and a Vic Super Tinker too. I need de hook. Sabre Red for my food.

Thanks! I am/was warm and comfortable. We heat with wood so warmth generally isn’t an issue.
We’ve gone a decade without a generator, but are considering rectifying that. Haha.

Absolutely stunning. What is the name of the Island? I grow more and more tired of Los Angeles year after year and yearn to move somewhere with more open country to hike and take in and to be able to experience more of the seasons (except snow 🤣) but it's a tough job convincing the lady haha
