That is a Svante Djarv Backpack Axe. It is a very small hatchet, weighing in around 13 oz. and around 9" long. Handy little hatchet for small tasks.

I was going to ask about your Kapara scales and blade, but did an internet search, as I often do before inquiring, and pretty quickly found what I assume is your knife at REK's Instagram. I was initially struck by the thumb ramp, as it does take a little extra articulation to access the Spydie hole, but all the mods are very nicely thought out and executed, right down to the tiny sharpening choil. Of course it's what I'd expect from your asks and Josh teaming up to improve your knife.

I've been really happy with how the Ripp's Garage Tech Nat Micarta scales have greatly improved my knife and they're very nicely done, but now I'm feeling just a little bit jealous. Nice mods, my friend.

Rescued my car and finally got her home thanks to a good friend ! It was still frozen and couldn’t even open the trunk had to roll her into the sun and turn on every defroster known to man kind
Stopped and got some Mexican food on the way home too celebrate lol . Todays carry will not include my CRK Inkosi Insingo as I decided to give her a break since it’s been in my pocket everyday for over 2 weeks I think since it’s arrival a new record for me
Anyway starting my vacation off to the movies with this carry today

She drove really well on the way home with the xdrive even with track tires which basically have no treads except for 3 lines going down the center of the tire. The roads were much better but still a challenge when you got off the main roads.

Exotac nanostriker . The rod is exchangeble , just remove and insert a new one when the old wears out. But I added a Light my fire-rod today, it’s larger and easier to use. I will still bring the Exotac, and use the striker, which is better than the striker that came with the LMF, or the spine on any of my knives..
