Going with this one today, as it is a "light" day of office work on the horizon...

Following up on yesterday's mention of @jsnell 's earlier post of his sweet Ritter Grip with Wilkins scales I'm carrying my same-only-different Ritilkins for Throwback Thursday. Like his, mine is a double throwback for blade and scales, as both are now out of production. Out of my current 6 Grips, four wear Wilkins and all are double throwbacks including my one Mini to match this one, a 550 HG with Wilkins Coyote G11 plus deep carry clip, and a former 551 with Kevin's replacement blade and a set of his aluminum scales. I've also got a set of Wilkins flamed Ti scales that's currently bladeless.

I spent some time today and finished cleaning up the tools from my carpenter's bag and getting them all stored back where they belong. This one's for @marcus52AR , @Murphjd25 , @Steel_Addiction , and any other Veto ProPak users out there. They've got lotsa different types and sizes of tool totes that are exceptionally well-made and designed with pros and different trades in mind.

Ok added a leather lanyard to make it easier to pull out of the pocket with the DP clip. Looks pretty good to I think and matches it well.

Fit and finish on this knife is phenomenal every piece is nestled in nicely including the back spacer.

Dont know if you're to blame... but I want to thank you!! Because I believe I just bought the last Japanese made SERE that was at KnifeCenter!! I've been looking at this knife for the past ten years but some how never pulled the trigger, it's like something always came up. After hearing you guys talk about them no longer producing these in Japan, I was checking KnifeCenter the past couple days and finally convinced myself to throw it in the cart. You guys are my inspiration, errr or enablers

Never tried the GB2 in all my years. Because of all the “it’s my favorite” posts in here, I traded into one. Gonna be my first experience with M4 steel. I already have micarta scales for it on the way.


PS. The texture in the CF is pretty cool.
