Deassisted the barrage today. Never really carried it much bc i didn't care for the assisted axis lock (why BM?) but now it works like any other BM with a smooth drop shut action! I was expecting some kind of torsion bar spring but it actually uses a heavy duty coil spring like an auto would. Removed the safety switch mechanism also and I like the knife a whole lot more now as a manual. Considering some aftermarket G10 scales maybe from Aramis.

Well, at least u will still have auto when the microbar snaps. But not garanteed that it wont break the same day, so i would recommend to buy at least one good reliable knife from reate or sanrenmu.

Assist kicks my ass more than actually the blade. Stops from boost and several other models. Hate it.
