Never really carried it much bc i didn't care for the assisted axis lock (why BM?) but now it works like any other BM with a smooth drop shut action! I was expecting some kind of torsion bar spring but it actually uses a heavy duty coil spring like an auto would. Removed the safety switch mechanism also and I like the knife a whole lot more now as a manual. Considering some aftermarket G10 scales maybe from Aramis.
I have taken mine apart 4 times now. I can do it blindfolded now and figure if I can de-assist, then re-assist (twice), then I can tear down any axis lock knife.:D

It does make a very good manual folder, but I'm OCD and the knife felt "off" when It was de-assisted, I had to put the spring and safety lock back on. I just had to.:(
