EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

My 4yr old sons’ chosen EDC 💪🏼😂View attachment 2276083
I certainly hope a photo was taken when he had everything one and was ready to get the day started.
Thanks. This HDS has been great. Didn’t need it much today, but will likely be using it later when it comes time to cook dinner.

Great day in the woods. Unfortunately, it looks like the mushrooms have already been eaten or are not good anymore. Saw some black trumpets:

Chanterelles, with a turtle:

The water was nice and cold. Stopped and filled up water bottles:

Also saw another bear while headed down a service road:

Didn’t get close and it ran off quickly. I didn’t see any cubs with it today.
Beautiful countryside

Thank you.

The 25 has really become one of my favorite knives and without a doubt my favorite Sebenza. I love the heft of it. That thick blade and solid lockup just inspire confidence. I am pleased with the improvements that went into the final version to become the Inkosi but I’ll never let this 25 go.
Right on. I wish I still had my other like yours too, but such is the cycle of this knife life--move one out to facilitate moving another in, then wish you still had the first and look to find another (often too late or too expensive). I sold my first Tabargan (drawer queen) to buy another Shiro to carry and use, then traded the 1st 25 to buy another Tabargan. Still would like to still have both those now gone, but not at the expense of giving up the two I got instead. My Starbenza 25 is definitely not going anywhere but in and out of my pocket and knife drawer.

We rode with my daughter along the embankments of the Obvodny Canal.

The canal was built for the passage of cargo barges bypassing the city center.

The buildings in the background are the former barracks of the Imperial Cossack Regiment. The regiment was recruited from the Don Cossack army and was responsible for the protection of the imperial family and his loved ones. Also for the suppression of riots and the suppression of uprisings. The Cossacks also patrolled the streets at night.

Fantastic knife and those tomatoes look great. Do you happen to know if CRK has stopped making the Umnumzaan?
I'm still catching up here, so maybe this has been answered, but the CRK website still lists the 'Zaan. There's a price and they're called out as backordered but there's a mechanism for pre-ordering and determining wait time, so it would seem they're still making them.

Good to know. I’ve been seeing Sebenzas and Inkosi’s for sale but no Umnumzaans. Hopefully they’re on the way.

I've been "carrying" This most of my waking hours these last few days..... Ugh!

All I have left is a sheath that in my mind is going to be inside the waist, carried at 5:00 edge forward.
I LOVE this knife..... I've been dreaming about it for years.

I've always wanted a Applegate-Fairbairn dagger from boker, but I didn't think the steel quality was worth $125.
Now, today, it's Insane the prices..... And I was Forced to design my Own. This one is from an extremely thick power hacksaw blade. It's the Biggest, and most expensive one I've Ever used to date. It cost me almost $80.

I spent WAY too much time on this project, from knit picking the design, struggling with the idea of having a choil or Not (I hate choils) to finding just the right shade of green for the scales.... I'm embarrassed that I Suck this much..... Seriously.
