As I knew would eventually happen, I had to toss my SAK. Way earlier in my journey than I thought. I figured I would have to gift it to someone when I did a carry on flight, but I had to give it away to board the ferry from Calais to Dover. The ticket agent advised “no knives“ no mater what size. I thought about stuffing it deep inside my pack but decided not to risk it. Getting on the ferry was like boarding a plane, all bags x-rayed and you walk through a metal detector. So…goodby SAK
