Hell yea man! I've never tried upgrading a knife with Skiff bearings, I might have to give that a try one of these days. That's a really cool and innovative product that Skiff is offering. I always try to wait until a Kizer model I want gets discontinued, because then it gets severely marked down and I can get it for a really good deal. Next I'd probably like to try the Varatas.Totally agree. I'm carrying a Civivi today (pics after cigar time) but even with a huge EDC rotation and changing it up for silly pic sharing, I find myself with a Kizer in my pocket at least half the time.
The first one where the action knocked the socks off my feet was the Clutch. There have been a lot of great examples recently but the full-sized Sheepsfoot Domin remains the best stock action I've ever had straight from a box. I've since done some tinkering and upgraded to Skiff bearings. Now it might be the best I own and it was all-day less than $100.
Why is it that when a knife gets to its new home it always looks better than it did when it left?!
I just love that knife. It was the first assisted I ever owned. Great action. It seemed to have disappeared rather quickly from production to my surprise.Lerch for the day. View attachment 2282897
