Hopefully, not too pretty to Use.

It's my First "chef's knife" I'm making....

7" blade AEB-L heat treated @ Bos to 63-64HRC. Crazy Hard.
K&G stabilized maple burl donated by weo weo ,

I've never used stabilized wood before.
Previously I only had one knife with it, and I don't like how it felt... (Not saying maker)
This stuff, is great... Actually kinda feels like wood.

Idk why, but I think it smells like whisky barrel insides when I'm working it.... 😍😍😍😍

Finishing up Shiro Week Plus Two here on a Small Saturday with the NeOn UltraLight. Tomorrow is our basketball club's home opener with 5 games in our gym and I'm thinking I might double up with the NeOn again, as a modest, non-threatening knife is always a good choice for me while acting as Site Director there. On the other hand, I've got several others by different makers of the same ilk, so I'll just go with whatever my whim might be when I leave for the gym in the morning.

I had a blue kudo AB Gecko on me as we finally got around to putting up the outdoor holiday decorations today.

It took less than thirty minutes before I was contemplating putting the Gecko in me.

Lol, did I mention we hit 90 degrees the minute the sun cleared the trees?

But on a positive note, about 90% of the lights actually lit…..which means there will be a lot less cussing tomorrow morning.
