Love the maroon with black hardware...I might need to buy another XM18, just so I can order the scale. (Not messing with my OD & copper)
I do have that MP1 that I'd hoped to dress up a bit... and that would eliminate the expense of buying another knife

Made some new edge pro style strops today with the Uncovsky and my Ti Tinker.
I really like the feel of the Ti scales in the tinker, but it does become a bit of a pocket brick. You can definitely feel it bouncing around. As such, I almost never carry it.

Spent the day indoors--emailing, getting ready for basketball season for my club and league, going through a few bills and paperwork items, and writing a letter of recommendation for a friend applying for a coaching job. Didn't cut anything but a couple envelopes and a pack of crackers open, but still enjoyed having my super-sharp all-Wilkins Grip with me. I shot these on top of the Russian fireplace which unfortunately was still cold. Though the first chill of the season was in the air, I was too lazy to go grab some firewood. I did vacuum out the gas furnace and light the pilot just to get that going for the heating season.
I never was much for aluminum handles but like these a lot and the Wilkins blade is really sweet.
