Good morning, Bladeforums Members,

I wanted to post an update. For most of you, it might not mean a thing but that is okay because it’s for those who recently purchased knives from me, those of you I’ve done deals with in the past, and anybody else. For others, you may not believe a word but that is okay because you don’t know anything about me and may have your opinions. You are entitled to them.

My car that was in the wreck was broken into, everything stolen including spare keys to my apartment. I was notified late today that my apartment was burglarized and everything I own is gone. My entire knife collection, watches, pen collection, computer, two professional cameras, lightsabers, gaming systems, tvs… even the external hard drives with every picture that I’ve ever taken of my daughters. The scariest part is all 13 of my firearms are gone. I negligently let my renters insurance lapse so as of right now, I have basically nothing.
But it’s just stuff. My neck is going to heal and as much as I am hating life… that too will pass. For anybody who doubts a word of this, contact me directly and I’d be happy to show you the police report when in it’s finished. I welcome it because although all my stuff was stolen, nobody can take my character away.

For those of you who purchased knives from me, I am sorry beyond words. So this is what I propose and I hope it’s acceptable. If not, let’s talk and try to find another solution.

First, I will refund every cent you paid me. It may take a week or two but I beg for that time.

Second, the other knives that I had listed but hadn’t sold yet were at my ex’s house (I didn’t move them to my apartment that was burglarized). For your trouble and inconvenience and as an apology, I will give you one knife to replace each one I couldn’t deliver. We can discuss which one(s) in the next day or two. I never got a chance to post the manual folding knives and those were also at my ex’s so I can show you those as well to pick from. Again, I’m so very sorry that what happened to me impacted you. That is not fair and I hope this can make it right in some way.

I’m happy to answer any questions if anyone has any and for those who purchase knives, let’s talk tomorrow. I should be back from picking up my second car that was stolen as well. Fortunately, they recovered that (which is how I found out I was burglarized while I’ve been away from my apartment). Please pray, send positive thoughts, cross your fingers… whatever you personally believe… that the firearms are never used to hurt innocent people.
I love this forum and I respect and appreciate you all. I hope in time I can be forgiven.

Respectfully,

Jeff
That happened

Ahhh... That's why I already had him on my ignore list. I remember that thread now. I hope everyone ends up whole.
Indeed. Top tip for the newbs out there. Check the GB&U often, and when a bat shit crazy member shows up, put them on ignore and never worry about accidentally getting into a transaction with them. No need to remember the sorted details.

Just so everyone knows I did get a text from Jeff today saying the cops recovered the knives that were stolen out of his impounded car. He said that he would get them tomorrow and overnight them to me.
That's curious, he said earlier that the knives were stolen from his apartment, along with everything else he owned.

He said that his apartment keys were stolen from his car, and that his apartment was burglarized.

In posts #29 and #31 of that thread, he cites going through a divorce, getting in an accident, and needing surgery as reasons for delay. That was last summer. Similar reasons mentioned in this thread. Coincidence?
You get one, maybe two catastrophic excuses for dicking around with a deal made. After that, save your breath and ship, pay, return, whatever. We all got problems and shit to do. Just do what you say you are going to do and be done with it.

Jeffery has used major excuse after major excuse over and over and some multiple times. Classic grifter behavior. He should be banned after this is resolved.

I'm surprised he wasn't banned after his last episode.

Holy moly. This smells all kinds of scammy; especially after reading the Trade thread referenced above. I can't find a court record for a divorce in San Francisco for his name on the online records search, so who knows if any of the story is true.
