Elusive Schrades

Other than a few OTs that I carried back in the day, I had one Schrade peach seed up until last year. (It was a scout and I sold it Charlie, who, of course, had a better one.) Here are the Schrades I've bought starting last year. Some of them are from Nilo Miori's collection, who was president of Camillus.

Most days of the year are unremarkable. They begin and they end with no lasting memory made in between. Most days have no impact on the course of a life.” ― Most days ...

Excellent carry knives Steve. A carry knife doesn’t get better that a schrade jr cattle.

Thanks Mike, the whittler was first to arrive, I was hooked after it, I've had more expensive custom knives that weren't as nicely constructed and as far as I know there's no custom makers offering the combo of crocus polish and glazed which I really like.

Here's a 3 3/8" equal end and a 3 1/8" jack.

The goodness keeps coming rob, wonderful knives.

Picked up a small lot of good condition vintage Barlows, had 2 Schrade Cut Co's, unusual in that both are etched which is uncommon on Barlows from this era. One is West Virginia oil and Natural Gas Association and the other is Beighley Hardware and Tool.

I want to share before and after pictures of my Wharncliffe. Our friend ea42 ea42 saw my original post of this knife and kindly volunteered to either send me some different size pins from his stash of pins from his days at Schrade for me to replace it myself or send the knife to him and let him replace the pin. I certainly don't trust myself around this knife with a hammer so I chose the latter option. Turns out the pins are so tiny none of his pins fit. So he put his excellent skills to work fabricating a new pin. I can't tell the difference in the new pin vs the originals. Excellent work Eric!  Thank you very much !

Charlie, I agree 100% on both  Also a note of interest, I believe this knife is the same one you posted of your friend Mr Nagle's collection back on page 32 of this thread. I'm 99% sure base on comparing the jigging. Looks identical to me. Thanks for your comment!
