Just got a real beauty in the mail today. Dogleg jack with sheepfoot and matchstrike pull! The wood is outstanding too!

YOWZA!!! blink.gif w00t.gif

Phil, I think you need to bring that one over to the shop, I need it as a research piece. I promise I'll only borrow it for a month or fifty.

Oh man just look at those STUNNING knives guys.
Thank you Gev my friend. BeUtiful isn't !!!!! I have two other exciting HJ's lined up for NZ.

Phillllll - that is simply outstanding. Evan beat me to the remark:D.

Robin - now that's a beauty - peachseed I just don't know if it can be beaten by anything - the ONLY thing in my mind ( can I say this on the Exclusive Schrade Forum? ) would be 60's and 70's Case Red Bone.

Phil that is an outstanding piece, and no offense, but somehow Robin's knife is more appealing to me.:)

Thank you everyone for the comments!

Lyle, no offense taken, you wear your heart on your sleeve, my friend!

Beautiful old FJ, Robin!!!

Phill
Outstanding beauty!!!!!! I have never seen another like it. A gem for sure! It would be sweet to see it in an old catalog:D

Robin
Man o man your on a roll, sir!!! Wow!

Duncan
Looking forward to more HJ goodness, my friend!!

Here's a Schrade Walden NY 295K circa late 1940's. Butter & Molasses celluloid (Schrade called it K-Horn in the catalog). Little 3" serpentine jack knife. Carries some peanut genes. Nicely matched covers.

Here's a nice little wharncliffe pattern.

Nice knife, Glenn! I have missed the last few knives posted here, to my regret!!
Making up for lost time now though!!

Hot HJ, Duncan via Mark!!
Sweet Sheepfoot, Philllll!
Fab Farmer, Robin!
Best Butter, Hal

And back to that wonderful Wharncliffe shape Glenn!

I do love a nice old Schrade!!

I posted these elsewhere, but I thought I'd bring them over. They were Mark Nagle's, and he always loved this thread! "Nuff said!

Man! I have really tried to avoid getting into the older "collectable" knives ever since I've been here as I want something I feel great about using, but I sure do like Schrade's Jigging from back in the day.... Definitely one of my favorites.
