Elusive Schrades

Just found and acquired this EO Schrade Cut 3.375 inch closed Jack. Seems to be in excellent condition with pretty much full blades although sharpened and blades cleaned at some point. Pleased to add it to the collection.
Very nice find. I would be happy with that one too.

Purty enough to move to the next page!! Nice one Lloyd!!

Thought I'd better get this Budding and Grafting knife logged in!
Bought it from an incurable knife trader after dinner in Titusville a week and a half ago!:D

Minty with strong walk and talk, it is gorgeous in person. First one of these shields I have seen!

This knife was apparently in the factory collection before it got broken up. I love the subtle shaping of the blades, the French Ivory handles - everything about it!

Beautiful Charlie, I had its twin minus the shield. Regret letting it go. Yours is just a wonderful knife:thumbup:

I'm not certain but me thinks I've seen the shield on their red handled Scout (SAK like) knife before???

I just acquired this small Schrade Cut Co 3 & 5/16 inch serpentine Jack. The F & F is fabulous and the walk and talk is near perfect. Topped off with very nicely executed peach seed jigged bone. Lloyd

Gorgeous! Can I ask for a picture with the main blade fully open?

Nice Stockman Knives, TsarB! A person could make a collection of Schrade knives with serrated/Wonda Edges!

Here are two all-metal Schrades, from different eras, but likely using the same tooling. The Schrade Cut. Co. has decoratively machined handles, with a space for initials or an inscription. The knife is "two-thick" to borrow a phrase from our Brit Brothers, with a nail file.
The Schrade Walden NY. U.S.A. is "one-thick" with no file, and has deeply-stamped advertising for whisky. Also a bail; the knife is just small enough for a keychain.

Nice advertisement knives Charlie- quite the better examples of such!

Charlie- I was waiting for you to post this after giving me a hint of the possibility of posting an Elusive Schrade - man it was worth the wait.
Quite a siolid tank of a knife for a Budding knife - I agree with what you say about it-a pristine awesome knife - and that Shield!!! Oh man ...that is a very very nice Shield.
I love- absolutely love the shape of the Spey - the shape for obvious reasons for Grafting Im guessing - but its just superb.

Well here's one that I have never seen before, so it was elusive to me. It is a Schrade 210W, mini barlow. I have posed it next to standard sized barlow for comparison.

Charlie ,I'll have to tell Tom that you've posted that knife. I simply love french ivory and am hoping to acquire another FIFJ (french ivory farmers jack). I hate these abbr.'s

Nice knives Lloyd

Glen, I expect that little barlow to cause a stir.:thumbup:

Thanks Gev, it's a Walden. The stamp is a little hard to see in my pic, sorry. It also has a "210W" on the back.
