Yeah pretty much. It's not a small phone, but the size doesn't bother me

I have the Otterbox Defender on mine and it really doesn't add much size over the Commuter. The river store has a really good price on them too.
 
Well, Murph got the short end of the stick tonight, he signed on as a apprentice here at my shop as most all of you know, He comes over 2-3 nights a week and I always have things for him to do. Tonight was something different. I told him to bring his new laptop. (which we both went out and bought just for this kinda crap) and we literally answered and got caught up on emails for about 4hrs tonight. That's one thing that I didn't anticipate with this whole knife thing is the time I spend just answering questions. So, heres the solution. We, are hiring a secretary, Unfortunately, Murph and I differ on our opinions on what to look for as good qualities of people in our employ. I want a dependable, self motivating, 100% trustworthy person for the job, and Murph wants DerekH to deliver beer to us nonstop at his expense in a French maid outfit. Were gonna have to negotiate.

I had an otterbox defender on my droid x, it survived everything but a drunken evening at work.. Uh, I mean extended lunch break. I've already ordered the otterbox, it all should be here Monday.

I actually have a Blackhawk dropleg I considered for my BK2, but the stock sheath wouldn't fit without some major mods to the rig itself, which I was unwilling to do. I might consider a kydex sheath for it though...when I can afford it.

The black kit is getting a factory bk3 and bk2 sheath attachment tomorrow, I will post a pic when I'm done.
 
I went for the Becker micarta for a reason. Todd only offered that option on the first twenty as a tribute to Ethan's support. That means something to me.

I'm still rocking the original Droid from three years ago. Thinking about upgrading to an SII. I looked at an SIII last year and the dang thing was crazy expensive. I'm grandfathered in on Verizon's unlimited data so if I use their upgrade to get a new phone for cheap I loose my data plan. So I gotta buy the phone outright.

And before you ask, Verizon is the only carrier that gets reliable service where I work. I'm actually tethering right now and it works pretty good.



On another note, just got a Condor Bushcraft Parang and Crocidillian Machete from baryonyxknife.com and sprung for the special grade. Pretty cool stuff, the Croc machete is THICK for a "machete", almost 3/16ths. So I placed another order with them for the Condor Matagi and a 14" tram machete and have a 12" ontario coming from another store along with some other random odds and ends. Gonna do a machete shoot-out with my KB grass machete, marbles scout machete, CS kukri machete and Ontario kukri.

Just watched Gladiator with Cuba Gooding Jr. again. havent seen it in 15 years or more. Excellent movie!

Yeah, I have Verizon too and was grandfathered in with Unlimited. I still have unlimited and got the phone for the 2 year price, ssshhhhh.....
