Okay I think I got it...
Got a chance to give it a try just now. Neighbors were looking at me like I was nuts with a fire in the yard. Oh well...
Anyway I wanted to see how long it took to boil 2 cups of water in the pot. Time posted below. This thing really cranked out the heat. The Trangia and the Emberlit make an awesome combo. But, because of the size of both the stove and the burner you will not be able to do any type of adjustments to the simmer ring once it is in place.
I took a shot of where the simmer ring can be adjusted before start up. I have to say that the denatured alcohol is one hell of a clean burn. The picture below shows no residue whatsoever after boiling the water...but, then again, it is a new pot.
