Emberlit Stove

Hi everyone. Yup, I changed the holes on the titanium stoves because I found it works 5 times better. The stainless stoves are garbage compared to the new designs...

hehe, I kid, I kid. :D I changed the holes so that the Ti stove would be visually distinct from the stainless. Purely cosmetic. This way people can identify the Ti stove from the SS stove at a glance. The intakes for the Ti and Stainless stove have the same surface area, and both stoves work equally awesome. If all goes well I'll be able to fill all the orders I have by Wed, Fri at the latest. My manufacturer is taking extra precaution to make sure the Ti stoves come out nice and clean. They are laser cut btw.

I'm glad you guys are keeping in touch with me. I'm spread out over quite a few forums now and it's hard to monitor them all. I started a facebook fan page to help keep everyone up to date:

Now I just gotta figure out how to use it.

Thanks again everyone.

I went. I saw. Cool.

Thanks for the update!
Cant wait till mine gets here!
shouldnt you be busy packaging and mailing
rather than sitting on the computer playing facebook
and youtube? :D

how long would that last outside of a fridgerator?

I'm curious to know the answer to that one myself.

By the way...I'm looking forward to getting my stove and trying that bag-o-omelette as well.

Handsome helper and cool dog, good pics on the firebuilding. But what is with the leatherhands? :D

Thanks. I try to always use gloves when I whittle or burn stuff. I find my hands get smashed, cut, and burned less since wearing them consistently.

Yeah, I need to reinforce what milani is saying. Knowing the dangers of maneuvering around a battlefield or field exercise, there are a lot of opportunities for cut, smashed or burned fingers. Both of us have been deployed where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a standard part of the uniform which includes gloves.

Same caution should be used when outdoors...I'm all for developing calluses to toughen up the skin, but taking some precautions when bush-whacking, collecting wood, moving or climbing around rocks, etc. is just prudent insurance.

Oh, for the topic...my titanium stove showed up yesterday...much lighter!

Just picking at you mang. I work construction and my hands suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune. But I've developed very thick callouses as a result. And I keep rolls of mil-spec duct tape on hand. :)

Et tu Rock6? :D

Even after more than a half century of stumbling around on this old rock, I still enjoy the anticipation of the arrival of a new toy. Kinda like the kid awaiting his Ovaltine decoder ring and Christmas BB guns. Sometimes your secret ring just says "drink more ovaltine" and some times you get that Red Ryder BB gun that lets you conqure the wild places (in spite of warnings that "you'll put your eye out!" . By the way, I never did get my Sky King Club membership package but I did get my Roy Rogers gunbelt. :p

No decoder ring,no sea monkeys
All I got was sand kicked in my face.
No gloves for this He Man
(unless Im pruning my Roses or doing the dishes)

Still waiting on my EmberlitTi :)

Welp... Santa just changed his list.

I am working on a new version using a different Element for fuel. Bruce likes this one.

Just as I thought fugawee, there was an error in the shipping department.

That or you just didn't send a big enough bribe. :D

If you buy the ultralite TI version, be careful about the type and amount of alternative fuel you use! Better just stick to alcohol, Esbit or wood!

FYI, Mikhail does international shipping. I am hearing about satisfied customers in far away places.

I think Fedex and other international air carriers have been including them in survival kits on their overseas flights. Being such a great wilderness survival item, they have been featured in major motion pictures.
