Enough already! What BAD things can we say about the SAR4?

Here here! I can't afford one... well, not really. Somebody paaaaleassse say something to keep me from having to buy one of those beauties.

NOTHING! IT'S ANOTHER FINE EXAMPLE OF INFI! PERFECT IN EVERY WAY, I THINK I'LL SLEEP ON THE SOFA WITH MINE TONIGHT! (Heck, the way I'm carrying on about it, she's going to have me sleeping on the sofa anyway tonight!)

You know I was all about anorexic myself on this one. But having held the knife with that tapered blade that transitions into a very nice convex, I'm pretty happy with the LE.

Grab one while you still can, steelnut. You won't regret it. And if you DON'T love it, I'll buy it from you for what you paid!

Now...when and where can I get a SAR-4 in SATIN/BLAZE ORANGE G-10??!

"Bloody Bill"

the two things I worry about on it (not having had one) is obviously the choil (:p), but also the inverse finger swell. I'm sure it's fine, but I find the idea of moving the grip control to the index finger and pinky a little confusion. it would make fine work a little more dextrous because of the pinky (the fine control finger), but less stable because of the lack of grip on the power fingers (middle)

I was thinking the same last night Guyon; but that was before it arrived today. I was thinking another SAR4 model in .170, maybe .150....but after holding this Beast:eek: there is no way I could see it being the 'same knife' in anything BUT this iteration of itself:foot: It is what it is, maybe change the flavors (scales) but I would have a hard time thinking of this knife in the same way in a thinner version. The HEFT:eek: of this Beast is what MAKES IT IMO/IME. This knife screams USE ME and ENJOY ME at the same time, a most beautiful creation in INFI. Did I say Thank you Jerry:thumbup:

Maybe an Aneroxic SAR5 is on the way in .150, which would be ok too.

I can just see it now..."Honey what are we going to eat? the children are hungry"....Umm, how's about everyone fondle their INFI that WILL take your mind off food:D until I can go hunt something down:thumbup:

The talon hole and the choil put the blade further away from the handle than in the SAR5. It has more handle and less blade than the "smaller" SAR5. The rounded spine won't spark a firesteel. That's all I've got right now.

If it's not in your hand then it does'nt count. One does not need to use 'the rounded spine' to make sparks, USE the dang Gimping! Mine's throwing sparks like fireworks, who you kidding:confused::thumbup:

The better to baton with and use with a gloved hand as in SAR MISSION!

i don't really need one (which means i'm not getting one since i can't really afford it). that handle also looks a little long, but comfy

I can only say ONE bad thing about the SAR4 LE ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
