Enough already! What BAD things can we say about the SAR4?

I don't have one!!!!!

I won't be able to order one!!!!!

I am too poor!!!!!!!!

By the time I can get the money for one, they will be one meeeillllion dollars on the exchange.

The only bad thing that I can state about the SAR4 is that I have only one, but I started its remedy a day or so ago, and it should complete tomorrow.

I can only say ONE bad thing about the SAR4 LE ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mine HASN'T shipped Yet !!!!!!!!!!!

,,,,,,,,and I did order it the first night....... oh well,,,,,,, think I'll DRINK!!!!!!!!

I guess ours is at the engraverz RoNNiE.

Sure would love to have it.

I'll start...

There is no satin/green linen combo...

yet...:(

+1....

We NEED some satin and green linen goodness on this model!

the two things I worry about on it (not having had one) is obviously the choil (:p), but also the inverse finger swell. I'm sure it's fine, but I find the idea of moving the grip control to the index finger and pinky a little confusion. it would make fine work a little more dextrous because of the pinky (the fine control finger), but less stable because of the lack of grip on the power fingers (middle)

I'm curious about the same thing...
but something tells me when I get it in my hands...
errr hooves, it will feel natural.

I haven't gotten mine yet :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :o

I'm hoping mine will arrive tomorrow. :D

.

BCS lists the SAR4 LE at $397. Sounds like $300 + $40 for shipping is quite the deal, but I'm not an accountant.:foot:

Thank you, you made things worse for me. It is 440 + at least 120 USD of import taxes. I am poorer than I anticipated.

And I guess I proved why we accountants are (partly) responsible for the credit crunch: we shouldn't do maths when we're drunk.:o

But still, I couldn't resist the knife. I'll post nice pictures when the knife is in the Netherlands.

Stupid PO hasn't updated the status in 2 days. ARRGGHH!!! THAT's the bad thing I can say.

OK, I'll say one more - this is MUCH larger than my first impression. I dunno if that is good or bad, but DANG this is a big knife.

I am actually excited its this big. I mean if it were just slightly bigger than an Meaner would we feel the price was as justified? Since it looks just smaller than the ASH, and considering what the ASH-LE went for. The price is about right.

I was hoping for an actualy 4" knife, not 4 7/8th. As previously said, there are already several knives in the 5" range. But I bought one anyway because it looks freaking sweet. :)

You will not be disappointed.

One big issue I found with it is that it takes so long for it to arrive at my doorsteps.
On the other side, it looks like everything I can expect from a knife. :D

I havent even got shipping info yet and i was johnny on the button ordering. i figured single digit number.:eek::foot::thumbdn:

Besides the fact that I don't have one, because both of my vehicles crapped on me and sucked all the stash monies I had hidden away in one fell swoop:mad::thumbdn::eek:( take a deep breath )

I guess I got nothin bad to say :p

Fully agreed, as usual.

That said, I still want one. Well, two. And I hope they don't run out before I can sell some kidneys to get the funds for them. :D

It kinda fills my need for a knife that I like to call Canoe Knife. I was hoping to buy one with a 4 inch blade. I guess , even though the SSAR-4 is closer to a 5 incher , I could learn to love it. I think it is really hard to beat.
