Definitely not. Felt like I was being ignored and taken advantage of.
I will say the scale he made for the Southard is outstanding! He really does amazing work.
But not worth the aggravation.


Was the free swag worth the haggling and the four month wait and is SCC good in your book?
 
I'll tell you how it went William......the OP got some free stuff and moved on.
This same scenario has played out many times in the past.
Eric has a major problem with simple business sense.
He refuses to take G&S because a high percentage of his customers would start a PP claim.

It seems to me that E emjay4248 posted his issues with serial offender S ShepardCC to get support from Blade Forums community. But once E emjay4248 got his, it's screw everyone else in the Blade Forums community....."I'm going to post S ShepardCC is a good guy now". E emjay4248 , way to treat everyone on Blade Forums who offered you support! No really.

I could not agree more, emjay4248 will be joining the always remorseful ShepardCC on my do not deal with list.
 
I'm sorry if you feel abused by my actions. Let me fill you in on where I am at. I communicate on the phone with him everyday for at least an hour trying to help him get Straightened out. I've run a business for close to 40 years and felt tha someone as talented as Eric should be given a chance. It is not unusual for artistic people are not good at doing business. after I put the negative comment in the forum he had my phone # and called me. We were on the phone for 3 1/2 hours and he profusely apologized. I realized that he has the same problem as many artistic people have which is not having a sense of time. I am truly hoping that my taking my time out to guide him will be helpful to him.
I just feel that a person with his talent and attention to details. Deserves a fighting chance. If my time spent with him does not help I will not regret trying and if it does help I will not expect anything in return. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Again I am sorry that the forum feels that I have slighted them but I mean well and hope you understand my reasoning.

Most of my customer's pay g&s.

Again these threads are to fix issues between members. That is what happened.

I'm really appreciate the kind words of the quality of my work. I appreciate the criticism because it brings to light my problems. Problems I will focus on correcting. My issues are my communication during the scale making progress and sticking to my quoted time of delivery. The quality of work is the hardest thing to change. Thankfully thats not the issue. I provide Great quality work.
Now I'm working hard to fix my issues of communication and time frame for completion.

So as a business owner you were just so fast to drop the negative thread here? But all of a sudden after this thread was acknowledged and you were made right you are mentoring him for hours on the phone as to how to run a successful business? So at no point was this thread needed to advise us of crappy service but only for you to get your money's out of a bad deal. Once the provider contacted you because of your original thread and made you right your song now changes to a helper of a lost business soul? As far as I understand this you are as bad as the provider here. Want to know why he uses this forum to scam others of money until called out on it. So in other words a loan system of money till caught. You well you used this forum to help get what you needed and then 180 flipped on all the supporters you had because you got what you wanted. So it's the same song different dance both of you need to be pushed out of this community because all in all it's bs

Thanks man this provider needs to get dinged for all the bs he gives members here. If it was once sure crap happened he's a crook and everyone but new people know it. So because he pays he gets to pray on the new people until a thread is made. Then like with a few members provided experiences to make the situation right you have to be thrown freebies and asked to change the thread title. So the scamming cycle can continue

You are so right can't figure out the new forums, has a new job no time, messed up your scales got orders mixed up etc etc. snore snore snore same song and dance along with same excuse. Everyone read between the lines this service provider is using this forums members as a loan system with no juice. And the one in ten he's caught at he makes right when called out. Think of the other venues he uses with no recourse smh.

When he said he shipped something but didn't- Is that from a poor sense of time?
How does a Poor Sense of Time cause him to generate Fake Tracking #'s?
Does a poor sense of time motivate him to demand Paypal F&F payments?

Another member for the growing Ignore List. There's nothing morally ambiguous about taking money, not delivering, lying, deceiving and having to be badgered to finally deliver. All while demanding a payment method that voids any buyer protection.

I associate with Bladeforums because of the integrity of it's members. The ones who don't accept this kind of behavior.

Here you go again with your BS, you specifically ask for F&F to 1) Remove your customers ability to get their money back when they lose patience with your standard excuses.2) To save paypal fees, both of which are UNETHICAL.
