Sorry I've been down the last 5 days with a severe migraine headache that makes doing anything impossible. Light and sounds intensify it so bad it's really not bearable. How long does "a fighting chance" go on for? He's repeated the same behavior for at least a year now with numerous customers.

He seems to habitually lie about things instead of just telling the simple truth. Late on shipping...oh it got lost in the mail, I put the wrong address on it, lost the tracking receipt. No communication...didn't get the emails, can't figure out the new software, I replied but you must not have gotten my emails. Paypal...I only accept f&f because I've been screwed too many times in the past, I don't request f&f anymore (http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/...-good-in-my-book.1498224/page-2#post-17218204). The list goes on...migraines, mixed up orders, excuses, excuses. It's very easy to just be honest, but some people just choose to lie out of habit. Habitual

The habitual behavior is the reason I posted in this thread.
He did the same exact move with me. After he sent the free swag he promised he was changing his ways and was very sincere........it took 2 months for the next debacle.
Let's also not forget, everyone that gets shitty service from him doesn't post about it.
Recently I spoke with another member, last month, that went down the Eric rabbit hole. Same exact thing he's done 100 times.
He will NEVER change.
I can't stomach liars, and he is flat out lying about demanding F&F for payment. Did it with me.
 
He's running a con plain and simple, that's why he spent so much time with the OP to get him to change his tune. Banning or bad press here hurts him. He's an artist? Yeah a con artist ;)
 
Perhaps his eBay ventures take precedent over any other deals/custom jobs on BF's. However, his eBay rating shows shades of some of the same modus operandi as discussed in this thread. Some sing his highest praises...other complain they got conned-- pretty uneven overall-- remarkable similar to what happens here.
 
Nothing from either both got what they wanted. Agian a "I got mine" attitude that is so popular now days as long as I'm ok screw everyone else. At least people that are new and that have been here awhile learned 2 things.

1. The provider here is still pulling his bs no matter what deals he pulls with his customers to get threads turned around.

2. The op is just as bad used the community to pressure the provider to get his items. Then got bribed by the provider to change thread title so the provider can continue to scam people here .

As I see it both aren't worth a grain of salt. I truly hope new forum members do searches before falling in to traps.

However, based on what you have shown here so far, I assume that you will not revise your impression and the title as long as he delivers, even after having his lies, delays, and your stresses associated. It is your judgement of course. But I do not care anymore.

I won't be crying to you. I am a grown up, You sound like a 12 year old child. In the scheme of things minor problems like this are not suppose to be life changing. It is still my to chose my words and deal with the outcome
Somehow you all have found the time in your very busy lives to turn this issue into a mountain. Look at his Ebay reviews. It shows that he might be able to improve himself.
I cannot believe that you guys have devoted this much time over this many days on this issue. I have told you that if I run into problems with Eric I will be sure to let all of you know about it and I promise I will not be asking for your help. Its not as though he has been the only one to have been so late on deliveries. He may be insanely late on some of his orders but from my experience with him He eventually comes through.From what I have read in the Good Bad and Ugly there are knife makers that have screwed people for thousands of dollars and I don't see you guys running to rescue anybody. It would be a good idea to make a category separate from the GBU And list the people that have been problems so it is easily accessed by members of the forum. Then members can go to the GBU and read about them. You guys can be working on that instead of coming up with 5 pages of commentary. I took back my comment about him being a thief because I had received all of my items well done and complete. This will be my last response to this matter.
I do promise to post any positive or negative in The Good the Bad and the Ugly. I have other unpleasant things to say to all of you but due to the fact that I am a grown up I will reserve those comments.

You got ripped off by someone we've watched for years. When he was in school, it was not a coincidence that problems tracked the school calendar. Rember the adage about the leopard's spots. You got yours, thanks to BF, and now he will fulfill anything you ask, on time and for a good price...only beacuse of this thread.
