And we haven't even told yall about the .22 survial rifle thingy we're working on. Yet another collaboration of our ideas mixed with a small manufacturers ideas.

Well, where is it already?
Here in time for Christmas?
If I complain loudly enough can I have a free one?
I alread want one; hopefully an accurate, breakdown semi-auto with a light enough spring that will reliably feed subsonic .22 cartridges without jamming. (Think AR-7 that works right).

Did I blow it and post this in the wrong forum?
Does ESEE have a firearm folder?

Mod Help!

id prefer a good bolt action, just because it seems like it will have far less reliability issues

Yeah, bolt action's good, too.
Just not a friggin' single shot, I'm not that good of a shot when I'm trying to survive.
Reliable, accurate, multishot, lightweight, packable .22 survival rifle.
I've been looking for one and have never really found it...

I had a Charter Arms AR7 that was a 'jam-o-matic', but either a bolt or even a lever-action (think Tactical Henry .22) would be fine.

Actually my 10/22 with it's collapsed Tapco stock is "packable" ~;-)

I have a Charters arm AR7 ,pretty decent.....I like it (No Jams, & I run CCI Stingers or Mini mag ammo)
I'd like to get a SS marlin papoose to try too

I still think an o/u .22lr/410ga would be freakin' smokin'. I've always tryed to get one and I found a collector that has some imports (Russian) and others he will sell, to the right person, with the right price.

I never understood why these things didn't take the world by storm. Cheap to make, easy to work, cheap ammo(found in abundance), and capable of defeat everything from woodcocks (:D) to deer. Break down design for travel, hollow synth stock, epoxy powder coat (you could even do some pretty awesome color combos orange and OD??) and built in ammo storage, sealed in the buttsock.

So, how'd I do?

I really like the Springfield M6 Scout 22lr/410 set up ,talk with Springfield about 'em and you get a vague answer as to why they will not bring 'em back .... I sure want one ! ;)

TTD, I have seen these @ gun shows here in Ohio for as much as $450-$500. "Collector's Item's" is their answer . . .;)
Be safe.

I have always wanted a AR-7 like rifle in a bolt configuration in 22mag. Have a underfolder stock with a free float forearm grip. A bull barrel with Rem 700 LTR like groves and 10 round mag would be nice as well.

I have one of the newer Henry AR-7 versions and I like it. Doesn't jam and it's plenty accurate for what it is. Just the same, I find myself shooting my 10/22 a whole lot more.

I think the old CA AR-7's got a bad rap. Granted there were definitely some dogs in the bunch, but I've owned a few in the past that never jammed. I think I fed them wildcats back then. Lots of good memories hunting squirrels with an AR-7.

I would just like to have a folder or break-down to throw in my BOB (or back pack for that matter) with a couple bricks of ammo. I've got a Marlin model 60 that's a real tack driver. I wish someone on the after-market would get on the stick and make a quality folding stock for it. That would solve my quest. I'd do it myself but my shop skills are non-existent, I can barely even keep my knives sharp.

I'm in. It'd be even sweeter if it was a collab with Ruger or Savage. Maybe even Daniel Defense HA!

I had a Springfield M6 in 22Hornet over 410 and was I ever happy to get out of it. It was a great gun but my profit margin was out of this world. Lets put it this way. I had Marlin model 60 money in it and had money left over for a holster after I bought a S&W M&P 9c. Couldn't resist. They are definitely worth the money if you can afford a dedicated survival rifle. Otherwise I see a 22 pistol and a long gun of your liking more practical. But you just keep wishing. Bless his heart.

Anything you can hit with a .410 you can hit with a well placed shot with a.22.

A single six Ruger revolver shoots .22 quite accurately and never malfunctions. If you want a truly accurate pistol I recommend the Ruger MKIII hunter. I can consistently hit clay pigeons at 100yards with it. I suppose a bolt action .22 rifle is more accurate by my pistol gets the job done in a lightweight package.
