ESEE-3 Folder!?

Feel free to take photos of anything we have at SHOT, including all of our women. We will even have them take their clothes off for you.
 
I like the looks of that. If they ever make it into production, I'll get one for sure. That or the Izula folder.
 
So, are you going with Lionsteel to make the knives or just the protos?

Oh holy crap I have SO been looking forward to the successor to the RAT model 1. You guys will drive me to the poor house yet.
 
Yep, we're thinking the ESEE-3 Folder will make a pretty good throwing knife :rolleyes:
 
That looks great Jeff! How thick are you guys thinking with this one? I'm hoping less than 3/16". Maybe .15 or so. :thumbup: Is the blade the same length as the fixed 3 minus the choil? I think I may be more excited for this than the HEST folder I should be getting within a week or two. ;)

I liked the HEST folder, but I couldnt afford it at the time so i had to cancel my pre-order... I was kicking myself for a while but this makes me feel better.

Simple is better, less that can break and go wrong.

I'm extremely happy to hear that it will be a framelock. I have never held a liner-lock that feels as secure in hand. And lionsteel is making it? Sign me up NOW. I'd love an SR-1 if money permits some day but this is will AWESOMEEEEE

You guys are true to your word. Not overloading the market with over 9000 variations of your knives, but keeping your set of designs and modifying within them to improve upon them.
 
The -3 folder looks like a win for me. But I need teh blade to be under 3.5". If it is over, we won't be able to pocket carry it due to concealed carry/ blade length state laws. Hope it works out for us behind enemy lines. Very nice looking knife so far.
