Right you are, dcycleman. I got a couple of the Busses. I did a full convex on one of them, l left the other stock. They are superb choppers, as are both the RTAK models. Being a chopperholic, I must have the new Junglas. I'll do a little comparison with the Busse Bushwacker when the Junglas comes in. I can't seem to stop buying choppers. It's sick.

Thats some serious steel in that last photo:thumbup:. How come there's no Beckers in that collection? I'd like to see a BK9 in next to the others for size comparison.

I am an idiot. I didn't recognize the BK9 with the micarta scales. Still a cool photo though!

That's an old Camillus Becker. I have the Brute, too. The Beckers are good choppers. I haven't tried the new Ka-Bar made ones, but I'm sure they are good choppers, too. The micarta scales were available direct from the Camillus factory just before they folded.

I would suggest that anyone considering ordering a knife from Newt Livesay, check in the GBU forum first.

So that Ontario RTAK I ordered came. I burst into laughter every time I pick it up. It feels like a scaled up ESEE-6. I've taken off the coating, and I'm considering making some walnut scales for it.

Horn Dog, that stripped Busse in the second pic inspired me to strip mine as well. You're right, it's a lot of work but I love it now. What a great blade. I like it so much I ordered another one with tan micarta, tanker blade from Busse. I can't wait for you to do a comparison with the Junglas.
I'm also going to be hoping there are some Dog Fathers at Knob Creek this April.

I don't think it was stripped Hoopster, I think it's the SE version, for a "little" extra no coating on the blade but a number instead ;)

Looks great

LOL sorry but I am still saving my coins to purchas the Junglas

Its ok, thats what I am doing, since no school or work today, went to cash in my coins at coin star...jebuz...that was alot of coins I had saved. All going to wait for Junglas...

I have a tendency to save $ for certain things and wont use it for other stuff, as if I never had it in the first place...helps me get what I need, so I don't "accidentally" use for something like new tools or shoes...or food lol.

Have anymore pics of it btw?
