Esnyx Custom Knives

Very nice job! BTW, the "butt plate" is called a "seal cap". A lot of the old knives of this type that were hafted with stag appear to be built or shaped around the stag pieces rather than building the knife and finding stag that will work. You did a good job recreating the genre.

Thanks, Kerry! Good to know! I had the feeling it had another name... haha

Thank you for the compliments, fellas!

Mark, and Jordan, it was great meeting the two of you, and putting a face to a name!

Thank you, and the rest of you fine folks, for the compliments!

Speaking of EO Teardrops...

CPM 154 blade and spring, desert ironwood scales, and stainless hardware.

Grade A and beyond work Evan, the sterile look of the blade with the swedge and only your maker's mark really make it a smooth presentation.

Wow, that teardrop jack (my favorite pattern) is simply a work of art.
That's a beautiful, beautiful knife!!!!!!!!

Nice work on those Teardrops Evan

Your BIG Pruner is looking good Phil

Maybe you posted it before and I missed it but how many of your knives did you sell at Blade?

Thank you for the compliments, everyone!

Hey Ed, I actually only sold 2 knives at the show. I was stuck in the back corner of the show, so I wasn't getting much traffic, but I did get to do a lot of networking, which made it all worth it! I got to meet some great makers and get their opinions on my work, which was invaluable to me, especially since I had never met another knifemaker in person!

Overall, I am really happy that I was able to make it up there, and I definitely plan on making it up there next year!

Thank you for the compliments, everyone!

Great job Evan! I am glad to hear that you made some sales and got to meet some great knife makers in the process.

Maybe I missed it, but I was looking forward to seeing your multi-blade folders. Mark (Clutchcarter) said they were fantastic!

I wish I could post pics of my mulitblade, but I have yet to sell it, so my hands are tied on that one...

That's great Evan. One of these days I may drop in on ya when I pass through Sarasota. My folks lived in Venice until they passed (1970 - 1999) but I still go down there every couple years.

Keep up the good work with your knives.

That would be awesome! I love showing people my shop, and explaining my processes!

Awesome, Evan. I can't wait for it to arrive! (The bottom one) - I'm liking the EO Micarta too - very classy.

HOOO-OOO-WEE!

Evan, that is some class work bud! Just wowzers! I love 'em both but the jigged bone with propeller shield is my favorite! On the other hand, the EO is a real sweetheart! Excellent execution, my friend.:thumbup: :D

Liam, you are a lucky fella! :)
