Estate collection

There is definitely some nice pieces in there. Like you idk jack about the older Remington's but those guys over in traditional are pretty knowledgeable on this stuff.

Nice find on the Bayonet

I was thinking the same. Took me a while to figure out what it was; glad someone else confirmed what I was actually seeing. I don't think I've seen a picture of one, just heard about them.

I was wondering if the remington's were US made or the newer Chinese ones. They look a lot like the US made schrades, though I'm not sure who made them. They're supposed to be pretty decent, back when most US slipjoints were of better quality, as opposed to more recently when Queen kind of ruined it and Case's QC comes and goes a bit. I think the bullet badge on the remington's are really nice.

Those Randall's are nice looking. I'll admit, the slippies with the bails grab my attention a little more though. Not many available anymore like that.
Fortunately all of the Remingtons are USA made. The guy was pretty loyal as almost all of these are us made. The Cold Steels I have zero interest in.

Mike, one of those Remington pocketknives appears to be a Birdhunter Model (has a green oval with a pewter ducks head shield). If I’m seeing it right. BB

This is by Bob Lay, he lives about 45 minutes from me here in BC. Makes a great fixed blade.

The cold steel Canadian belt knife is still produced but the Gunsite is really nice especially if your into big folders (5.5 inch blade I think) its discontinued but should be able to move it.

Are the handles interchangeable on the first combo? That second combo is very nice with a interesting shape.

Sweet haul for sure!!! The Randall is a dandy of a knife. That guy had good taste for sure. The Remington’s always intrigued me too. Congrats on the score.

If it’s 1/4 inch thick stock I think it must be a 23. It should be stamped on the back of the sheath.

A model 23 with stag is $485 plus $25 shipping plus about 6 years. Nice score!

It’s carbon steel. Be careful how you store it. It’s not like aBuck knife.
