And Dex, that's kinda how it went with my wife last fall when I told her that not only was I going to the Northeast Gathering, but the kids were coming with....well, we had a blast (thank you Trailbum!) and we wished we'd spent the whole three days there. Of course, Moose was NOT at the Northeast, so I figgered I could bring the kids ;).

This year, Ethan wants no parking up the hill, so everything will be shuttled. I'm going light(ish) as a result. If it doesn't go in my large BPP or one small tub, it ain't going.
 
The Grind-In Thread slipped to Page 2?!?! Unacceptable.

Please sign up there if you plan to attend and participate, so we know how much stuff to bring :) Speaking of traveling light, I don't wanna bring 100# of belts and steel just to schlep it all back home again...
 
Just got the time off scheduled for work so should be there a little bit later than usual.

If I have the address correct in Google earth and we are parking at the bottom of the hill.....at the dam? I'll be camping in my truck down there somewhere - by myself? Hope someone else is camping at the bottom of the hill so I ain't scared!

Well I hope you all have a great time. I wish I could make it but I will have to wait until the fall again.
 
I'm bummed that we won't get to see you, man. So we'll drink an extra round for you, and one for Hank Hill as well!
 
I am trying to see If I can arrange enough time off. I might need to fly in, which would mean that I would need a ride and maybe a place to crash ..lol
