Every day carry

Lately it has been my Case 6265 folding hunter and my Victorinox tinker. I do switch around alot tho. No telling what it will be next week.

It varies according to mood (or need!)

A Case Crandall Peanut is trousered lately...while in jacket pocket a Schatt&Morgan English Jack vies with a Case Mini-Trapper Wharncliffe.

The Mini-Trapper suits my needs very well, don't like the name 'mini' though...not pleasing. Trapper is fine, as is Tiny-Trapper but mini? I feel shortchanged. Why can't it be Demi-Trapper or Half-Trapper eh??Fine knife though!

...my Vic Sportsman II has really, REALLY grown on me. ... The Sportsman II I got for $7 at Big-lots has become my EDC. I carry it more and more, and when I have my Peanut with me instead, I start needing the toothpick, or corkscrew. I start missing the Sportsman. ... At work, it gets wet, covered in sand and gook, sweat, bleach, all kinds of stuff, and it's used alot as well, for everything from cutting rope to skinning reptiles, and it's hung tough. ...And the small size (84 MM) and universally known red scales makes it a very sheeple friendly knife as well. A perfect compliment to my Leatherman Wave. I love this little guy.

I bought a couple of those. Nice little knives. I gave my brother a Recruit for his birthday on Saturday, and his wife commented that now they would have 2 pocket knives at home (he never carries the other one, but he was impressed with my Tinker when we fixed a door with it, so I decided on an SAK for his birthday). I asked her if she had one, and she said, "no, never," so I pulled out a little Sportsman II and held it out to her. She's from Japan, which is where they live, and outside of my family, nobody she knows carries a knife. It kind of freaked her out -- she waved her hands in the air and backed up a little. I took her hand and pressed it into it. She got excited about it, but she doesn't know how to use one. My brother assured her that he would teach her about it when they got home. :D

My wife has the other Sportsman II I bought. It's in her camping gear/BOB. She carries a Vic Classic on her keychain.

I have carried this Tinker almost every day since I bought it my first day at AIT, ten years ago. Needed a knife, didn't have one, and this one was ten or twelve dollars at the PX. I have a Pocket Pal I've carried a lot, and a little Wenger like the Pocket Pal that I've never carried. Today, the Tinker rode my belt again. A Case Wharncliffe Copperlock rode in my back pocket. Tomorrow, who knows? Moods swing, you know!

Lately I've been carring a case yellow cv trapper, with nice dark blades, and I just about always carry a vic, lately it's been a tinker.

From this thread I can see Im not the only one who carries a sak!

At home I always have my Kneissler Farmers knife (carbonsteel + cowhorn slippie) with me.
Over the time the spine of the blade and the spring turned to almost black because of my sweat and the blade got a nice natural patina. A cheap and rough made but reliable handmade user. (~ 25.- Euro only)

When I leave the house I carry 1 folder + 1 fixed most of the time.
As I use to rotate my EDC`s it`s:

Heiko Dörr made knife with Oosik handle and Armin Drumm forged blade (silversteel) + Gernot Loquai lockback folder, aluminium frame, ASP30 (powdermetalurgical toolsteel, not stainless) modified with mammoth ivory inlays by Karel "cosco" Koci.

or Peter Abel forged fixed blade 52100 + walnut scales and Bob Ham hunter modified with mammoth ivory scales by Karel "cosco" Koci.

Here's some that find their way into my pocket.I haven't seen this Gerber in the stores or catalogs anywhere.I picked it up fairly cheap, around $20.00 and it is impressive to say the least. No numbers on it, just limited production run/Taiwan ATS34 steel. The Case 63032 has lived most of its life in my jeans. The Copperlock in Ebony is one of my favorites for EDC.

I see a lot of you guys using oldies. I don't feel so bad now when I slip my old ones in my pocket now and then.

Schrade X Timer, Very Sharp

armilite.

Most days SAK Swisschamp and Spyderco Delica SS. Today I did something different and went with the SAK Tinker and Boker Trance. I bought a Case Med Stockman that I thought I would EDC, but I'm really disappointed in the overall size. It feels and looks great, just that it's quite small in my (large) hands.

Today I am carry a 3 1/2 Winchester four blade Congress. With carbon steel blades. Larry

That sounds cool. Got any pictures of it?

Been carrying this old carbon steel Boker USA medium stockman for week or so. I picked it up on eBay for $10. All it needed was a good re-profile on each blade followed by a few swipes on my Sharpmaker. It's scary sharp now and holds an edge for a very long time. The blades have been a bit abused (scratched) by the previous owner but the snap is very good and there's no wobble or play.

Anybody have an Idea how old it is? There's no shield and no number on the tang just Boker U.S.A. Bolsters, liners and pins are steel.
