All it needed was a good re-profile on each blade followed by a few swipes on my Sharpmaker. It's scary sharp now and holds an edge for a very long time. The blades have been a bit abused (scratched) by the previous owner but the snap is very good and there's no wobble or play.

Anybody have an Idea how old it is? There's no shield and no number on the tang just Boker U.S.A. Bolsters, liners and pins are steel.

Definitely post WWII...the iron bolsters and brown bone handles with no shield would lead me to think that it is from the late 40's to early 50's.
