Definitely like the lanyards. Wish I could get the instructions on how to do these. These came in last week, but I was too busy to post them all. The 2 carbon fiber beads came from Etsy.
* The Demko AD 20.5 CF knives in clip point and sharks foot were ones I bought at release in 3V a while back. I shipped them out toGary W. Graley so he could try them out and see if he wanted to keep one and install a lanyard on the other for me. He installed the lanyards.
* Kizer Sparrow in 154CM and laser etched blade, shipped from AD to Gary to try it out and see if he wanted to keep it, but it came back with a lanyard. He did keep the Kizer Invictus (for now)
* Terrain 365 neck knife in dendritic cobalt went to Gary so he could try it out first as well. I agree it's pretty thick behind the edge, but will make a nice rust proof car knife/camping knife and hopefully the microscopic serrations will keep it cutting for a long time. Did not alter the stock lanyard that is part of the handle wrap.
* From @REK Knives came a set of Aramis Akhmedov gold CF scales and anodized REK clip for my incoming REC Spyderco Shaman in CTS-204P steel.
* Oknife Rubato 4 drop point in S35VN and rose carbon fiber.
* Oknife Multitool with locking D2 blade and tools (screw driver, bottle opener, can opener, file, Philips and flathead screw driver, and big scissors)

The three for which Gary installed a lanyard - they were installed this way so as to keep the knives slim in the pocket

Is there any way to adjust the detent without having to take it all apart and guessing the amount of adjustment, put it back together and repeat until it’s right? Right now mine is so strong and stiff when I first tried flip ping it open it felt like it was stuck. Then after (like three or four times the amount of pressure I expected it should take) it finally flipped open super snappy and hard. But even just flipping it once leaves lines in the finger from the jimping. I thought about seeing if Holt could return it to their perfect action but with blade show coming up soon and the price of shipping back and forth for something that I could probably just do myself is less and less preferable. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and congrats on a beautiful new blade!Got a holt haptic in the mail today. This thing is insane!

I want one ... In orange too lol.
I think it was worth the price but I know others don’t agree. I’m sure it could take a beating. The mechanism that holds the blade in makes me a little nervous but I’ve not seen any issues of the blade flying out, like with the elementum utility knife.I want one ... In orange too lol.
Is it worth it?? Looks like it. Do you think it can take a beating?
