Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I was huge into Chaves knives for the longest time. Had 4 customs from the man and plenty of production. Then one day I just changed my mind. Don’t ask. I have no idea why. I sold the customs for a tidy sum and still have about 8 productions left. 4 of which are the Kickstop flipper and I still kinda dig those. So in short: I have nothing against them other than I lost my mind???? Yeah call me crazy. 🤪
Thanks for the clarification??? 😂🤣 Maybe it’ll appeal to you again someday.

Just got this a couple days ago. LOVE it!!!

Terry, what is it that you don’t care for, regarding the Chaves? Which specific model is it? I immediately thought that it was a great looking knife, when I saw your picture. I was surprised as I read that you didn’t care for it. Just curious………

I’m not Terry but the posts re. Chaves kinda’ forced me to look on my shelves and count. Sum of Chaves knives added to 17. And recently I rec’d one of those relatively new “Axis Lock” types as shown in Terry’s pic as a gimme. I’ll never use it….it’ll just sit in the case on the shelf. If you have an interest in it, PM a shipping address and I’ll send it along. No charge….I’d like to see someone get some use out of it: especially a 14 year Forum member.

PM sent. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your generosity. What an incredible act of kindness. Thank you so much!

It is! I wasn't looking for any design in particular either, this one just happened to be the cheapest one I could find online haha.
It's one of the few designs where Spartan stonewashed the slabs before anodizing. Really gives it a neat tactile experience, plus the flowers really pop. Personally, my wife is Japanese so Koi are right up my alley 😁

Yeah I love how the flowers pop when you turn the blade. First spartan I've had too.
