Everyone's latest acquisitions!

490 Arcane
A flipper and assisted, very unusual for me.
When I de-assist, I'm really going to like it. Very Slicey and S90v :)

I’ve been fortunate to acquire recently four knives that collectively are the centerpiece of my collection currently. Two of them I sought for quite a while and are notoriously elusive. One’s purchase I was fortunate enough to transact online in the brief period they were available. And the fourth is that rare impulse purchase that exceeds the high expectations I had when the impulse struck me and I succumbed. They are, respectively, the Koenig Arius, Holt Specter, Boos Blades Smoke, and Sander Knives Barbus.

The Koenig Arius with carbon fiber and lightening pockets weighs only 4.1 oz. Nice! It’s pictured here with the Smoke TM1, a great front flipper deployable by quite a few different techniques.

Here together are the Sander Barbus (top) and the Holt Specter, the latter needing no introduction and possessing a uniquely satisfying opening action. However, many may not be as familiar with the Barbus. Fit & finish as well as action and certain design aspects are to me similar to some Shirogorovs I’ve handled. Really impressive knife, 4-inch cutting edge and 3.95 oz. Like the Arius and more so than the Smoke via its blade hole, the Barbus is easy to open using the fuller, as well as by flipper. Drops shut with a musical resonance. Never heard that in another knife.

Nothing special here-----have been cruising the Walmart knife case----a Gerber Prodigy--a Buck Ascent and a Leatherman Rev multitool---all for less than $100----decent equipment for cheap.

Picked up a Benchmade 908 Stryker about a month ago

All American made.

Got a schf55 day before yesterday. Seems like it's going to be a good one to use. I haven't figured out how to send pictures but there are some on the board already. I like it a lot so far.
