Made the mistake of going to the local knife store with cash burning a hole in the wallet. Picked up a Spyderco Native 5 Salt and a Pivot Caliper Blue.
Pivot's not a well known company and not a good choice for a name if you don't want to be 800 pages into a Google search before someone trips over your company. It would be like naming a knife company "Blade" and hoping for the best on web searches. Pivot are an associated company of Kizer, similar to the relationship between We and Civivi. Now that Kizer are doing more knives with better materials it looks like Pivot's role is shrinking. It means that I got a S35VN blade, with great bearings, a titanium handle, and a deep pocket clip for less than half the price than if it was made by Benchmade, because it was also on clearance. It's just a nice, well built, piece of metal. The only reason I hadn't bought it already was that it was hard to believe a knife that good didn't cost more, so I needed to take a closer look.
