Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I've decided that only 2 things will make us stop buying knives:
1. Bankruptcy
2. Death at the hands of an enraged Spouse.
That moment when she opens a drawer in your desk and is shocked to see 6 knives staring back at her and all you can think of is that it's a good thing she didn't open the other drawer.

First Microtech! First OTF!

For those with experience with big microtechs, is there a decent break-in period for the closing action? It's my only complaint about it, deploys easy, but is difficult to one hand close. Also, blade play perpendicular to deployment plane normal?

Today was a good end to the week...
The Tops Mini Scandi, and ZT 0609 both showed up.
The Scandi opens up easily in my "all-thumbs" paws. The ZT takes a bit more if a snap
The ZT is a bit larger and heavier, but has a clip that does a GREAT job of keeping the knife low in the pocket.
Oh! I really like the micarta scales on the Scandi also!

Easy as in a weak detent or is it just because the design works well for your hand?

Not really, but your thumb will break in😂 The closing action is an awkward thumb movement that doesn't occur much in normal life...your thumb will get used to it. Minor play is common in almost all OTFs.

Between Diabetic Neuropathy, , and severe Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: I think it's a bit weaker detent.
But I always have trouble getting any knife to stay where I put it in my hand...
(Can't even button my own shirts anymore...)

Thanks! Saw that on their site just now, which they also mention you can send it in, and they can adjust it slightly.

Yeah, the play is slight, and only in perpendicular directions to the deployment. Parallel, its rock solid.

Curious, do the smaller version deploy easier? Might pick up one of the -70 for use/abuse tasks.

The "LIttle 70" still has a pretty stout pull to it...
But they are as cute as a sharp little button...

After I sold off my Maxace Goliath 2, I saw their Sandstorm model and it arrived today, beasty and a bit wide in the pocket but manageable .... barely
;)

Compared to the small Browning stockman, it dwarfs it by a large margin
