My new project came today... Love the ZDP steel. I was on the fence if I should get the K390 Endura before the ZDP189 but someone mentioned here that Spyderco will phase out the ZDP steel and
this tipped the scales in the ZDP favor. Very happy with it so far. Next month I'll pull the trigger to the K390...

This one has been a long time coming, Spartan Harsey full size.

I spoke with Spartan about a year(+) ago to see if I could get a full blacked out handle ordering direct, it was possible but at the time supply chain issues were really beginning.
It was a waiting game and I eventually gave up as I never heard back from them, placed an order online with the intention of waiting until it was back in stock and expected early next year, it came sooner.



Size comparison to today's CRK Zaan carry and the Kwaiback.
Large but still feels smaller in hand compared to an XM-24.
With thumb studs and washers I'm going to really like this.

I did the same. Picked up a user on the exchange. I have mostly cleaned up the blade that was missing a tip when I got it. Ergos are really good but the lock stick is NO JOKE. Ha.

Mine came from the recent California knife show so it’s new. I’m expecting some lock stick until such time as it’s broken in well.

Got this guy on the cheap. Very hefty feels like it could chop through anything. Really like the quality but have no idea what steel they use at Zwilling. Reading about it, they say a proprietary forge steel. Been feeling like a tough guy in the kitchen of late!
