New Mule merlot scales. I had to grab a blade to match. ZDP-189

After looking at it long enough, I picked up the 0308 about a week ago with nice detailing from USA Made Blade.

Black canvas micarta scale.


Nice tri-way pattern on the lock side.

MXG black deep carry clip which always feels better on a ZT for me.

It's everything I wanted it to be and still makes a flipper with bearings a lot of fun.

You need to take a second look just a bit closer to see the “sans bolster holes” that Chip has mastered on these special variations. Turns beautiful into a true masterpiece IMO. Go ahead and open my attached picture.

I found myself at a local hardware store this weekend picking up some odds and ends and decided to have a look at their knife case. I hadn't planned on purchasing anything, because it takes a lot to get my attention these days. However, after about ten minutes of fiddling with it, and looking over everything else in the case, this came home with me:

Benchmade Mini Adamas. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for its big brother.
