I think you’ll be very happy wit this, I have the same setup and I am using it a lot
It takes little time to learn how not to convex everything that touches the belt, start with some beater blade.
BTW, Benchmade techs are using the same grinder on the SHOT to touch up your knives, this is how I picked up this particular grinder for myself ha ha ha…

I found myself at a local hardware store this weekend picking up some odds and ends and decided to have a look at their knife case. I hadn't planned on purchasing anything, because it takes a lot to get my attention these days. However, after about ten minutes of fiddling with it, and looking over everything else in the case, this came home with me:
