Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Couldn't resist one of my favorite Pena designs in some of the coolest micarta I've ever seen.

I'll still probably carry the CF/M390 one most of the time, but now it looks a little boring in comparison lol.

@New River Knife Works came through for me again, picked up a couple of beautiful Boker Barlows, one of which comes with some additional features that make it the perfect weekend carry!

Man... I wish I would have known you were in the market for the birch Prime. I just sold one recently, lol. What do you think of the swell-end jack? I keep going back and forth about buying one.

First up is a couple of GORGEOUS pocket slips made and gifted to me by my friend sbh06 sbh06 . The embossing and stitching is so well done! I don't know that there's anything better than getting a hand-made gift. :D I'll cherish and use the heck out of these Jeremy!

And next is a Mojave Outdoor exclusive Kizer Original. It's a little bit smaller than I was expecting, but it's a really sweet knife! Excellent fit and finish and great action. The thumbstuds are perfection! The knife almost felt like it was assisted the first time I opened it. The blade flies out of the handle so smoothly!

A Randall Model 2 - 7" Fighting Stilleto

Bought it for a what I considered a "good" price off of the Exchange but it unfortunately suffered some pitting in storage (not visible in the photos but plainly visible in the hand) and some other minor issues.

Decided to keep it despite these problems because it's the 1st of these that I've ever seen offered at a "reasonable" price and because, if you order it or any other knife from Randall now, it will not be scheduled for completion/delivery until 5 years from now in 2027. I should live so long. LOL! ;)

So, now I'm thinking about whether to just leave it alone or try to remove the pitting by hand w/some super high grit sandpaper or send it to Randall to regrind/refinish the blade to take out the pitting properly. Repairs/refinishing only take 6-9 weeks according the FAQs on Randall's website.

Otherwise, think it's a great knife. The design of the knife is really sexy/beautiful to my eye and the handle fits my hand perfectly. Far better than my Gerber Mark II and Command II which are about the same size.

Dang man... That thing is absolutely beautiful! I love it. I have an Apache and from time to time think about selling it and finding a used Damasteel Pena.

Case XX Trapper Carbon series 1095 burlap micarta . I had the first pilot test run and it was such a nice example I decided to take a gamble with the normal production run . It did not disappoint it’s another great example. The burlap wasn’t as polished and just a little rougher but other then that centered blades and very nice fit and finish with perfect pulls and walk and talk.
