Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I like that design..very unique for Biryukov from what I have seen. 👍
One of the reasons I bought it. I like uniqueness. Not going to see many of them, and apparently the earlier models were M398 with a swedge. I much prefer the full flat grind.

The action is really great, and is the sharpest knife I've owned out of the box. I want the other one I was looking at too, if he had it in blue.

New knife, but not for me! I made this sheath last night/this morning, first sheath/slip I have ever made! I gave it a satin interior, as well, so it is more professional looking and fits snugger. Made the slip so that the graphic would not fade while in her purse being bumped around, as these colorful full-sclae graphics tend to do, good thing my white ones are way more resistant.
For me ma's birthday! She has admired my small pink donut SD Classic, but this is a Tinker, it's blue, a better color for her, and it has tools that she needs and can use without fear, as she admitted to me after I gave it to her that she would be too scared to put the tiny SD Classic to work, and wanted a flathead/Phillie screwdriver combo in a light combo as she always uses those, that the Tinker to her felt much more like a real, usable tool, than the SD! Good thing I got that.

I have a few new ones, but I’ll post my favorite now and get to the other later.

It’s a new John Lloyd 3-3/4” mammoth Barlow in A2, bought from VCM3 (he sells these on his website). It is beautiful with smooth mammoth ivory covers, good feel in the hand, and sharp sharp Sharp! Vince threw in a suede leather slip, but otherwise no box or fancy stuff to go with a fancy knife.

The slipjoint is nice and flush, and pretty tight at the half-open and full-open. It just feels so special to hold, to open, and to close. Someone else wanted this knife first, but they did not appreciate covers that did not have texture on them, such as bone or stag.

This was posted in the Sarah Ladd engraving thread, with joking about having a mammoth engraved on the bolsters, maybe with gold tusks. That would be so cool.
