Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Two more knives on order came in today, instead of Saturday.

First is my Spartan SHF 3.25" Damascus with bronze hardware. The action on this is excellent, and it flicks open quickly with a thumb or my middle finger in a reverse flick. It feels much smaller in the hand than the full size model for some reason, at least more than expected.

The other knife that came early today is my Stonewashed Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Skinny, with harpoon Spanto in CPM-20CV and Black G10 scales. This one is the epitome of "drop shut". It's also my only XM-18 that I can do a reverse flick to open, and also thumb flick to open, despite a good stiff detent (can't shake it open if my life depended on it).

Last fall I bought Burgundy textured micarta scales and accidentally bought the "skinny" version, and have not used them. I also had an extra stonewashed LynchNW deep carry pocket clip on hand.

So, in true BladeForums style I bought the knife to go with the scales and deep carry pocket clip 🤣

You can see the new cat chomp marks on my right hand today...

Finally bought my first Olamic knife, a Wayfarer 247CF with bowie blade. It came in the mail yesterday and I took it to work today for my 7hr shift. It sat clipped in my front jean pocket all day and was taken out maybe 5 times to cut some tape off of cardboard boxes. The first two pics are from 6:30am and the last pic is from when I got home at 1:30pm… All of the body screws were loose and one was missing when I looked at the knife in my car on the way home. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I’ve had one or maybe even two screws come loose, but to have all 6 come loose and one fall off is absurd. All I did was walk around all day. :(
