Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Thank you kind sir. I was a couple sheets to the wind last night. I believe you are correct.
No problem, Terry.
Next time you have a drink, please have one for me!
I quit drinking about a year ago, in the hope that I would be able to sleep better.
Still can't sleep worth a dam.
Maybe I should start drinking again!
Stay safe.

While I have some latest acquisitions to post later today, I also have “latest losses”, as in I cannot find my Buck Paradigm Shift and Kizer Laconico Gemini ANYWHERE, and they live in the boxes and should be easy to find in one of my plastic bins. Nada, gone, vamoosed.

It’s a real bummer, and I didn’t find out until I went to carry them this weekend.

I did get this one in this weekend, and got to carry it. A Civivi Qubit Damascus with aluminum scales and button lock. I have a size comparison here with my Benchmade mini Griptilian and my Buck Sprint Pro 841 in carbon fiber and S45VN.

I posted a review of this new knife in a post by WE about new releases.

I found all the missing knives, 8 of them!! (The Buck Paradigm Shift, Kizer Gemini and Mad Tanto, Leatherman Free T4, Boker USB OTF, Spyderco Wayne Goddard, Spartan Astor, AKC Xtreme Dandy auto OTS).

They were in a little wood container, sitting on top of my subwoofer in the bedroom, covered by a bag full of hats. It's not anywhere that I've ever stored a knife before now. I've moved things around to use the container for some of my new additions for easy access.

You might have too many knives, if you misplaced eight at once.

Something different for me:

Wardog 2.0, 4.5” CPM 154, designed by Belgian Samuel Lurquin, made in France. The (larger) original Wardog (BLADE June 22) is another incarnation of several modern fighters I have - this one is on the smaller side - think CPK DEK1 with choil, swedge and glass breaker).

I have a few more coming Monday, but wanted to post the new ones from the weekend now.

I picked up an Ochs Worx Solarstorm in M390, Ti frame lock, and copper fat carbon fiber inlays from Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley that is great for my small front hidden pocket, where I can fish it out by the lanyard - I've been keeping a small Sebenza 31 or small Spartan SHF in that pocket, with lanyards to help me retrieve the knives.

I also received a Sitivian ST-995 in M390 steel, with Ti bolsters and steel liner lock, and what seems like shredded rather than marbled carbon fiber scales (I'm just not sure). This one is on bearings with a very short flipper like the Ochs Worx, but unlike the Ochs Worx the first time I operated this liner lock the blade dropped down onto my thumb instead of the flipper hitting me. Ouch...

Here is I ended up with in my pockets at the end of the day.

This Sitivian is very fidgety, with the tight but not tight detent for the flipper and the fuller for reverse flicking. I figured out if I engage the liner lock higher up on the bolster then the blade's flipper reliably engages with my thumb instead of the blade hitting me, so no more blood.

I wonder who the OEM is? The action feels very crisp, but there is just the smallest bit of lock-stick. The inlays are perfectly flush with the Ti bolsters, so I'm surprised that the carbon fiber scale screws are not recessed or flush but can be felt when sliding a finger across the handle. The M390 blade is incredibly toothy and sharp, but I wonder about the HT and RC and how well it will hold an edge or sharpen. It's probably the usual "59-61" they all get labeled with. Still great for an under $100 knife.

Hahahah OMG I just did it again! I was showing off that the crisp detent is still too weak and can open with an arm flick, and I dropped the blade shut on my thumb twice more!
