Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I recently sold my user Ultratech to a work buddy who was reluctant to dive into the MT game at the price of a new one. So, of course, I needed to replace it with another slim profile OTF. Thanks to F flylock , this Counterstrike arrived today.

Gotta say, it is a well-made piece with nice action. IMO Hogue has brought a great contender into the Ultratech-size/profile ring with this one.

Found this small custom maker on an Instagram page I follow USAmadeblade.com the day I got back from Blade Show. It’s the smaller sized Tyr flipper in Nitro-V and as I went right to their webpage I was able to get my hands on the actual prototype! The detent is a bit weak and I have to give it a decent flick of the wrist to really pop it open but I’m satisfied. It’s very cool and my pics don’t do it justice

Is that Will Zermeno???? Sure looks like it.... His flipper is always skeletonized....Some neat profiles he's .made over the years.... Nice grab.

Something different for me:

Wardog 2.0, 4.5” CPM 154, designed by Belgian Samuel Lurquin, made in France. The (larger) original Wardog (BLADE June 22) is another incarnation of several modern fighters I have - this one is on the smaller side - think CPK DEK1 with choil, swedge and glass breaker).

I have finally pulled the trigger on an AK1. In this case the reverse tanto with the regrind done by the man himself.
The custom leather sheath by Daniel Pokladek will hopefully arrive on monday. I am going to put a lanyard on the knife to give my pinky something to hang on.

I dig the grind lines! And the edge is brutally thin, this is a slicer for sure.

Great profile on that beauty!!!👍. Looking forward to your thoughts at some point down the road!!😉
Thanks, I think so too. It's a little smaller than an ESEE 3 but this one is 5/32 so a little stouter. A lot of the material I have worked on for our video channel has been on urban civil unrest and putting kits together geared to those circumstances. So I like highly discrete but tough edc fixed blades for those studies. I'm working on a review of it. Jeff is a second generation knife maker who has been at it a while. Who wants to stick with users knives with good builds and fair ergos, but not a lot of bells and whistles, just simple and functional. I like his approach. He makes a few different models, the Thornbush is one of the smaller ones.

I present this weekend's haul to you. It's been a busy 24 hours, with multiple arrivals yesterday and today.

First up - my Chaves 229 Kick Stop with Timascus clip and back spacer, a Crane's Cutlery Exclusive. 25 of these were made in drop point and tanto, another 15 each with Damasteel blades that sold out immediately. This also came with an extra "standard" clip, no skull.
